Facultad de Ciencias Humanas,Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2009Desde el momento en que en la Iglesia se habló de realizar una nueva evangelización, en las palabras del papa Juan Pablo II, concretamente en Santo Domingo, se motivó una gran misión. Se buscaba que fuera nueva en sus métodos, ardor y expresión y que produjera una nueva primavera en el ejercicio pastoral de la iglesia. Es así como en la práctica nuevas realidades han surgido como fruto innovador de la evangelización dando respuesta a ese llamado eclesial. El camino Neocatecumenal, reconocido actualmente como un fruto maduro de dicho deseo de la iglesia ha encontrado una gran acogida por los resultados que viene presentando como respuesta efectiva y eficaz de toda la iglesia universal. Como siempre hay posiciones de todas las índoles, pero es innegable conocer que la palabra de Dios se cumple: “por sus frutos los conoceréis”. Las pequeñas comunidades que caracterizan el camino Neocatecumenal, muestran en la praxis que la preocupación por la recuperación del tejido social es un hecho. Con este trabajo pretendemos aportar al quehacer pastoral de la diócesis de Pereira un discernimiento ecuánime, como siempre debe distinguirse en el corazón de un pastor.From the moment the Church spoke of carrying out a new evangelization, in the words of Pope John Paul II, specifically in Santo Domingo, a great mission was motivated. It was intended to be new in its methods, ardor and expression and to produce a new spring in the pastoral exercise of the church. This is how in practice new realities have emerged as an innovative fruit of evangelization in response to that ecclesial call. The Neocatechumenal path, currently recognized as a mature fruit of this desire of the church, has found great acceptance for the results it has been presenting as an effective and efficient response of the entire universal church. As always, there are positions of all kinds, but it is undeniable to know that the word of God is fulfilled: “by their fruits you will know them.” The small communities that characterize the Neocatechumenal path show in practice that concern for the recovery of the social fabric is a fact.
