Enrique Millan Rubio perteneciente al sistema de educación pública en Dosquebradas, Risaralda. Para tal fin, a través de la docente de planta se consiguió identificar cuál era el grupo con menor desempeño en el área de inglés y por medio de un instrumento como la encuesta, se logró establecer las dos habilidades de mayor complejidad entre los estudiantes. Como resultado se identificó que eran las habilidades orales, Listening y Speaking. Paralelamente se implementó otra encuesta para los docentes de inglés, en la cual coinciden con los estudiantes al identificar las habilidades orales de mayor complejidad para enseñar/aprender. A partir de allí, se analizaron las estrategias utilizadas frecuentemente en la enseñanza de la segunda lengua extranjera, y como propuesta innovadora alternativa se presenta el video interactivo como medio para fortalecer Listening y Speaking. En este punto se tienen identificadas las tres principales categorías de la investigación: las habilidades orales del Inglés Listening y Speaking, las TIC en la enseñanza del inglés, y el video interactivo como herramienta TIC. Posteriormente, para desarrollar la idea innovadora, se implementa un Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizaje para formar a los docentes y estudiantes. En el mismo AVA se recogen las perspectivas dejadas por los docentes que permiten interpretar el posible impacto de los videos interactivos y por otro lado, a los estudiantes que sirvieron de betatester se les aplicó una encuesta para conocer de primera mano sus impresiones con respecto a la propuesta académica investigativa. Abstract: The purpose of this article is to explore the scope that interactive videos can have in improving the oral skills of Listening and Speaking of English in students of the seventh grade of the I.E. Enrique Millan Rubio belonging to the public education system in Dosquebradas, Risaralda. To this end, through the full-time teacher, it was possible to identify which was the group with the lowest performance in the area of English, and through an instrument such as a survey, it was possible to establish the two most complex skills among the students. As a result, it was identified that they were oral skills, Listening, and Speaking. At the same time, another survey was implemented for English teachers, in which they coincide with the students when identifying the oral skills of greater complexity to teach/learn. From there, the strategies used in the teaching of the second foreign language were analyzed, and as an innovative alternative proposal, interactive video is presented as a means to strengthen Listening and Speaking. At this point, the three main categories of research have been identified: oral skills of English Listening and Speaking, ICT in teaching English, and interactive video as an ICT tool. Subsequently, a Virtual Learning Environment is implemented to train teachers and students to develop an innovative Idea. In the same AVA, the perspectives left by the teachers that allow interpreting the possible impact of the interactive videos are collected.
