At first, it arises as a reflection towards a historical understanding of the concepts of craftsmanship and industry, which will differentially generate a theoretical context upon which the research takes place. In addition to the historical overview is presented as second scenario: concept, practice and organization; which proposes an analysis from the collective nature of the trade and productive, aesthetic and organizational effects of their own adaptive processes of modernity. Form and ornament, as a third point raises a scenario that exposes the fundamental aesthetic elements of craft product as traces of identity and culture. Finally and looking to integrate the above 3 scenarios, the value chain and its links, which is evident from the need to implement an applied research based on participatory action research PAR.En el presente artículo, en un primer momento se plantea una concepción histórica hacia la distinción entre los conceptos de artesanía e industria.
