The text is based in the recognition of the concepts of educability and teachability relating them with the experiences in the faculty, it is also supported in the history of the design teaching, because, to examine its course allows us to go beyond the traditional practices and finally it shows the processes applied in the Faculty.La docencia como una de las funciones sustantivas de la Universidad Católica Popular del Risaralda es inspiradora de nuestro actuar en relación con el propósito del programa de Diseño Industrial. Reflexionar sobre la acción docente permite hacer consciente el deber ser del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje a partir de cuestionamientos que retroalimenten nuestro quehacer.
