The article finds that the application of the national SITM program has been more successful than other experiences in the country because the metropolitan scale has been more present in the urban management than in other territories.Este artículo recopila el proceso de gestión del Sistema Integrado de Transporte Masivo (SITM) Megabús, dentro de un marco analítico que incluye observar relaciones entre niveles de gobierno, entre entidades territoriales y entre el sector público y privado en relación con los procesos de metropolización, a partir de la revisión documental del marco regulatorio, entrevistas con gestores del proyecto y análisis de prensa nacional y local.
