Cuba: A feasible marketCuba: Un mercado de oportunidadesThe aim of this paper is to explore the possibilities for Colombian´s beef exportations to Cuba, because this one of the main products imported by the Central American country. To explore this possibility it is considered the tariff preferences covering the Agreement between Colombia and Cuba, regarding the export of beef from Colombia to Cuba, discussed the current conditions of the exchange and then contrasted. In general it was found that despite the agreement, the terms of domestic production and falling demand Colombia Venezuela is not positioned as a supplier of beef to Cuba. El objetivo del presente trabajo es explorar las oportunidades de inserción de carne bovina colombiana en Cuba, en tanto este uno de los principales productos importados por el país centroamericano. Para analizar esta posibilidad se consideraron las preferencias arancelarias que cubren el Acuerdo entre Colombia y Cuba, en lo relacionado con la exportación de carne bovina de Colombia a Cuba, se examinaron las condiciones actuales del intercambio y luego se contrastaron. En general se halló que pese al acuerdo, las condiciones de la producción nacional y la caída de la demanda venezolana Colombia no se posiciona cómo un proveedor de carne bovina para Cuba.
