The birth of Information sciencie in the world sparked a revolution that permeated all areas of knowledge and was born as a result of advanced technologies. There was a rapid advance in technology and the way the world was conceived, and reality changed. As a result of the discipline of the task of the industrial designer, objects, not strangers to this revolution, have started including in their basic outline the logic of the computer component, giving them new powers. It's time for another entity, the Object 2.0.Los objetos tradicionalmente han sido pensados y reflexionados por los diseñadores industriales, considerando categorías conceptuales provenientes de las ciencias de comunicación. Así, el objeto es portador de mensajes que son interpretados por los seres humanos para atribuirles significados funcionales y simbólicos. El nacimiento de la Informática en el mundo suscito una verdadera revolución que permeo todas las áreas del conocimiento y como resultado nacieron las tecnologías avanzadas. Se presentó un vertiginoso avance en la técnica y la forma como se concebía el mundo y la realidad cambió. Los Objetos como resultado del quehacer disciplinar del diseñador industrial no han estado ajenos a esta revolución, han comenzado a incluir en su esquema básico la lógica del componente informático, lo que le otorga nuevas potencias.
