Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2018.El presente trabajo de investigación tiene con fin entender el impacto que tiene el rol de la familia en el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de grado 2° con edades entre los 6 y 7 años, de la Institución Educativa Nuestra Señora de la Consolación de Toro, Valle, sede La Inmaculada, de los cuales la mitad no tienen acompañamiento de sus padres o acudientes. Metodología: se seleccionaron 6 niños y 6 niñas, con edades que oscilan entre los 6 y 7 años, a quienes se le aplicó entrevista. También se entrevistó a profesoras y a padres de familias o acudientes. Luego, se tomaron como base fundamental los testimonios de los participantes, sus vivencias, sentimientos testimonios y anécdotas, todo esto dentro de un enfoque etnográfico, donde las experiencias se vivieron y compartieron dentro de la escuela y aula de clase. Resultados: se identificaron tres categorías emergentes: La familia en las concepciones de los y las niñas, La importancia de la familia en el acompañamiento académico de los niños, La escuela como espacio facilitador de las expresiones sociales y académicas. Conclusiones: para que los niños y niñas tengan un buen y mejor desempeño escolar debe haber un vínculo profundamente estrecho entre familia y escuela, de tal manera que el trabajo conjunto entre ambas instituciones repercuta directamente en el buen desempeño escolar de los estudiantes. \ Abstract: The present research work aims to understand the impact of the role of the family in the learning process of students in grade 3 with ages between 8 and 9 years of the Educational Institution of Our Lady of Consolation of Toro, Valle, La Inmaculada, of which half are not accompanied by their parents or guardians. Methodology: 6 children and 6 girls were selected, with ages ranging from 6 to 7 years, to whom an interview was applied. Teachers and parents of families or guardians were also interviewed. Then, the testimonies of the participants, their experiences, feelings testimonies and anecdotes were taken as a fundamental basis, all this within an ethnographic approach, where the experiences were lived and shared within the school and classroom. Results: three emerging categories were identified: The family in the conceptions of the children, the importance of the family in the academic support of the children, the school as a facilitator of social and academic expressions. Conclusions: in order for boys and girls to have a good and better school performance there must be a profoundly close link between family and school, so that the joint work between both institutions has a direct impact on the good school performance of the students.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
