Facultad de Ciencias Básicas e Ingeniería, Pereira, 2019El presente trabajo describe la propuesta de un sistema de mantenimiento autónomo como pilar fundamental del mantenimiento total productivo para el área de recurtición de la empresa Americana de Curtidos Ltda. y Cía. S.C.A. Inicialmente se sometió a evaluación la sección y se evidenciaron paras de producción causadas por las detenciones de maquinaria relacionadas con fallas, teniendo esto en cuenta se definió un modelo de inspección autónoma que incluye la participación del operario en tareas básicas de mantenimiento estableciendo funciones puntuales para lograr la puesta a punto de la máquina y mejorar su funcionamiento. Por último se desarrollaron los instructivos y modelos de capacitación necesarios para lograr el afianzamiento y apropiación de todas las actividades en mantenimiento autónomo contribuyendo a consolidar la gestión del conocimiento de la empresa y el compromiso del personal en las nuevas tareas. En síntesis, la presente propuesta proporciona una mejora teórica de casi el 70% en la continuidad del flujo de producción de la sección y le provee a los colaboradores las herramientas de conocimiento necesarias para aumentar sus habilidades en la realización de sus tareas. \ Abstract: The present work describes the proposal of a system of autonomous maintenance as a fundamental pillar of the total productive maintenance for the retaining area of the American company of Kurtids Ltda. Y Cía. S.C.A. Where first, the current state of maintenance in the retaining section was evaluated, evidencing problems regarding the programming of this and the stops in the machines continuously for unexpected damages, which decreases the productivity of the section studied, after this defined a routine autonomous inspection model that allows to improve the operation and set-up of the machine, with the direct participation of the operator, which directly impacts on the efficiency of this, since it can solve some machine failures that are minors, decreasing the time that this is stopped, finally the instructions and training models in autonomous maintenance were developed, which fulfill the specific function of knowledge management in the company, in synthesis, the present proposal evidences an improvement theory of almost 70% in scheduled maintenance, as well as the impact generated in the development of the skills of the collaborator, being of great help for the organization to have more qualified personnel for their routine tasks.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
