| Summary: | This article allows an approach to the sector of confection in the department of Risaralda, it describes the structural characteristics of the sector, identifies the opportunities that have the companies that compete in it, and it also identifies the strategic capacity that Risaralda has as a clothe-maker. The importance of the sector is justified by its presence in the economical structure for almost one hundred years and its economic and social impact through the history of the city and the department. Here are described the systems of human resources, administration, production, marketing and finance. I confirm the opportunities that Colombia and specially Risaralda have starting from what it means the American market as the first commercial partner. |
