Para tal indagación se priorizó la narrativa de un sujeto participante; así también como técnica en el levantamiento de la información se empleó la redacción del texto autobiográfico (historia vital de ser interpretada). Las técnicas fueron: la observación y entrevista semi-estructurada compuesto por tres preguntas orientadoras. Desde el método constructivo-interpretativo empleado en la narrativa del sujeto participante, se obtuvieron entonces las siguientes categorías de análisis: De la deshumanización a la rehumanización, La ingobernabilidad de la vida, voluntad y cambio vital y Sistema familiar. Dichas categorías de análisis permitieron conocer los sentidos subjetivos motivacionales en el sujeto participante para el cambio vital./ Abstract: The main objective of this qualitative research was to understand those factors that configure the subjective process of motivation of a person who developed a heroin-dependent consumption in the city of Pereira, in relation to the high intensity treatment carried out in a treatment unit. addictive behaviors. For such investigation, the narrative of a participating subject was prioritized; as well as a technique in gathering information, the writing of the autobiographical text (vital history of being interpreted) was used and the techniques were: observation and semi-structured interview- composed of three guiding questions.
