En este documento se presenta el trabajo desarrollado como práctica empresarial en esta empresa, en donde se permite ejecutar la práctica profesional a un trabajador de planta y que con su saber aporte al buen funcionamiento o mejoramiento de los diferentes procesos que se llevan a cabo al interior de los departamentos. El principal aporte generado a la empresa desde esta práctica empresarial fue apropiar el manejo de la plataforma SCADA para analizar la información obtenida de los macromedidores del departamento de agua potable y así generar la información necesaria que soporte decisiones importantes que traigan beneficios operativos y económicos para Aguas y Aguas de Pereira. Ha sido para la empresa un pilar importante dentro de los planes de mejoramiento, el sistematizar los procesos de oferta y demanda, por ello el pilotaje de telemetría a los macro medidores es un encargo de gran envergadura que se fue asignado al practicante. Por fortuna, los datos recogidos, detallados, tabulados y analizados permitieron llegar a resultados favorables, con respecto a una visión más clara de agua consumida, repartida y no contabilizada, que impacta directamente en las finanzas de la empresa y el buen funcionamiento general del departamento de agua potable. Abstract: The company Aguas y Aguas of Pereira is in charge of managing the city's water resources, with quality, continuity and reliability, guaranteeing its environmental, economic and social sustainability. This document presents the work developed as a business practice in this company, where a plant worker is allowed to execute the professional practice and who, with his knowledge, contributes to the proper functioning or improvement of the different processes that are carried out inside. of the departments. The main contribution generated to the company from this business practice was to appropriate the management of the SCADA platform to analyze the information obtained from the macrometers of the drinking water department and thus generate the necessary information that supports important decisions that bring operational and economic benefits for Aguas and Aguas de Pereira. It has been for the company an important pillar within the improvement plans, the systematization of the supply and demand processes, so the piloting of telemetry to the macro meters is a large-scale commission that was assigned to the practitioner.
