De tal manera, este estudio se plantea a partir de una metodología transversal descriptiva en la cual se pretende dar a conocer el estado actual del Área Metropolitana centro-occidente para luego determinar la problemática con mayor influencia y así identificar los territorios con un nivel de afectación mayor, en este caso se define la Florida como el área a intervenir en el presente estudio. Así, en este sector se pretende desarrollar un planteamiento urbano acompañado de equipamientos viviendas ubicadas estratégica mente. A partir de esta fase se plantea un equipamiento con enfoque educativo, que permita dar conocimiento a todo tipo de población a fin de fortalecer la identidad socio-ambiental de los habitantes, y así mitigar los riesgos de contaminación y preservar y cuidar los ecosistemas de la cuenca media del rió Otún. Abstract: This document gives an account of the analysis process carried out in the Central-West metropolitan area, which was subsequently focused on the study of the territory of Florida Risaralda, where some problems were found, mostly environmental, due to the unconscious practices of industries and inhabitants settled in the territory. that is why the objective of this research project is mainly focused on establishing guidelines to structure architectural urban strategies that contribute to a comprehensive improvement, focused on the reconstruction of memory in order to strengthen the socio-environmental identity of the population of the territory studied. Thus, this study is based on a descriptive cross-sectional methodology in which it is intended to present the current state of the Central-West Metropolitan Area to later determine the most influential problem and thus identify the territories with a level of affectation In this case, Florida is defined as the area to be involved in the present study. Thus, in this sector it is intended to develop an urban approach accompanied by strategically located facilities and homes.
