En el islote se presentan grandes necesidades a nivel social, preventivo y jurídico desencadenadas a partir de la falta de agua potable, necesidades de salud, jurisdicción, protección de los recursos naturales, entre otras. Por esta razón, A mar y ya nace de la necesidad de contar en términos de comunicación cuál es la relación que tienen estas problemáticas con la escasez de agua potable, así como también se pretende mostrar cual es la relación que tienen los isloteños con el recurso hídrico. Del mismo modo, se busca visibilizar también las dinámicas sociales que se pueden encontrar en el islote, el sentido de pertenencia que tienen los habitantes de Santa Cruz hacía su territorio y conocer a quién le pertenece el islote. Abstract: Santa Cruz del Islote is located between the islands of Tintipan and Múcura, which belong to the Archipelago of San Bernardo. It is characterized by being the most densely populated island in the world. This attribute is due to the fact that more than 1200 people live in this territory of 5600 meters. In Santa Cruz del Islote there are great social, preventive and legal needs triggered by the lack of drinking water, health needs, jurisdiction, protection of natural resources, among others. For this reason, A mar y ya aims to tell in terms of communication what the relationship that these problems have with the shortage of drinking water, as well as it intends to show what relationship the isloteños have with the water resource.
