Programa de Psicología, Pereira, 2018Resumen: A fin de conocer la relación entre el apoyo familiar y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes diabéticos, el objetivo del estudio fue determinar la relación del apoyo familiar y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con diabetes tipo II entre los 40 y 60 años de edad. Se aplicaron un total de tres instrumentos, Whoqol-Bref, apoyo familiar al diabético tipo 2 y la escala de adherencia terapéutica para pacientes con enfermedades crónicas. Los resultados muestran que hay un buen apoyo familiar a los pacientes, se sienten acompañados y guiados en la evolución de la enfermedad, así mismo se encontró que a pesar de la motivación que ejerce la familia sobre el diagnosticado no se muestra por parte de él buena adherencia en la dimensión de autocuidado, especialmente el ejercicio físico que debería realizar para mejorar su condición física. \ Abstract: In order to know the relationship between family support and adherence to treatment in diabetic patients, the objective of the study was to determine the relationship of family support and adherence to treatment in patients with type II diabetes between 40 and 60 years of age. A total of three instruments were applied, Whoqol-Bref, family support for diabetic type 2 and the scale of therapeutic adherence for patients with chronic diseases. The results show that there is a good family support to the patients, they feel accompanied and guided in the evolution of the disease, likewise it was found that despite the motivation exercised by the family on the diagnosed, it is not shown by him. adherence in the dimension of self-care, especially the physical exercise that should be done to improve your physical condition.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
