Diferentes industrias a nivel nacional e internacional se vieron obligadas a replantear sus modelos tradicionales de negocio debido a las repercusiones que trajo consigo la pandemia del covid 19. Esta situación se convirtió en una oportunidad de mejora para muchas organizaciones que deseaban permanecer vigentes en el mercado a través de la implementación de nuevas ideas de negocio diferentes a los modelos tradicionales. Este fue el caso de la Escuela de modelaje STAGE, una empresa con sede en la ciudad de Pereira desde hace 27 años, quienes tuvieron el reto implementar nuevas estrategias digitales que le permitieran mantenerse vigente y cumpliendo con su misión empresarial en tiempos de crisis económica y sanitaria. La necesidad de seguir operando durante el tiempo de pandemia los llevó a explorar por completo el modelo de educación virtual durante casi 6 meses y posteriormente, econtrar allí una gran oportunidad en el mercado digital para expandir sus servicios de formación en una esfera más grande. Es por esta razón que el presente trabajo de grado presenta una mirada más profunda sobre los aspectos más relevantes que se deben tener en cuenta para estructurar los servicios educativos de la empresa a nivel virtual y lograr diversificar su modelo de negocio para obtener mejores resultados y mayores alcances para la organización.2020 was a year of many changes and economic challenges for human kind. National and international companies were forced to reframe their traditional businesses models due to COVID 19 pandemic repercussions. This situation became an improvement opportunity for those organizations that seeked to remain active in business through the implementation of new businesses ideas different from the traditional ones. This was the case of STAGE modeling academy, a company located in Pereira for 27 years, for whom it was a complete challenge to implement new digital strategies that allowed it to remain in force while accomplishing its business mission throughout an economic and sanitary crisis. The need to keep operating during the pandemic led them to explore the complete virtual educational system for almost 6 months and afterwards, find a great opportunity in the digital market to expand its educational services in a bigger sphere.
