Lineamientos de política institucional de la universidad tecnológica de Pereira para el desarrollo regional.

Within the philosophical concept of Institutional Development Plan 2007 - 2019 "La Universidad que tienes en mente”, it opens the way for regionalization and its positive implications developed from the needs of society and the potential of the institution for institutional development and regional primary activities leading towards the path of institutional development, institutional policy where regional development of the Universidad Tecnológica of Pereira in its connotation regional impact, is the reference model for regional institutional development . The institutional policy of the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira for regional development was approached from the Institutional Development Plan 2009 - 2019, in consideration of regional impact which ultimately led to the identification of the operational form, media, strategic and addressing the action of the University in the regional environment from its various agencies and departments, then took into account the knowledge of experiences of other public universities of the Ecorregion Eje Cafetero, in its management and development of regional institutional policy for the generation of a reference fundamental theoretical and conceptual aspects or central referents implicit in the theme: Development and regional development bets, Region and regional development, public policy and social meaning of higher education, both conceptually and in its objective manifestation in the regional context and institutional Ecorregion Eje Cafetero and the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, in order to relate the variables to consider (Environment, Economic Development, Competitiveness and Science, Technology and Innovation) to consider the regional dimension and impact from the government institutions and state levels to the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira.
