En este trabajo se toma la comuna Quimbaya como foco debido a que en ella se encuentra la unidad hospitalaria de la ciudad. Esta unidad se enfoca en el mejoramiento de las condiciones del usuario y para la consecución de este objetivo se busca el mejoramiento de los espacios e instalaciones que posibiliten la inserción de esta población a actividades laborales que contribuyan al crecimiento personal y a la integración social. Este documento tiene como finalidad la formulación de un proyecto arquitectónico que favorezca el desarrollo integral de la población mencionada. Abstract: Currently, the city of Armenia has a population made up of people with functional diversity of intellectual type that does not have adequate conditions for the autonomous development of daily activities. In this work, the Quimbaya community is taken as a focus because the city's hospital unit is located there. This unit focuses on the improvement of user conditions and in order to achieve this objective, the enhancement of spaces and facilities that allow the insertion of this population to work activities that contribute to personal growth and social integration is sought.
