Pereira, 2012En el presente artículo se realiza un abordaje - desde el campo psicoanalítico- del intento suicida en la adolescencia como fenómeno subjetivo, retomando los planteamientos de Freud, Lacan y algunos autores contemporáneos, acudiendo además, a los desarrollos teóricos que se han realizado de la problemática desde disciplinas como la psicología y la psiquiatría. Las particularidades que la adolescencia conlleva, parecen abonar el terreno para la realización de actos como el intento suicida, de manera que éste podría llegar a presentarse bajo las modalidades de pasaje al acto o acting out: nociones abordadas y diferenciadas en este artículo. Los desarrollos realizados tuvieron como finalidad dilucidar la relación entre el intento suicida en la adolescencia y la inconsistencia del Otro en la época actual - época caracterizada por la hegemonía del discurso capitalista-, relación que permitió, por un lado, esclarecer y diferenciar el intento suicida del suicidio propiamente dicho, y por otro, distinguir el desasimiento del Otro como elemento particular de la adolescencia, de la inconsistencia simbólica del Otro como característica de la época contemporánea.In this article it is realized a development -since psychoanalytic theory- about suicide intent in the adolescence as a subjective phenomenon, retaking the Freud, Lacan and some many other contemporary authors’s approaches, including the theoretical developments of the psychology and psychiatry disciplines. The particularities of adolescence may be an influence to realize acts as the passage to the act or acting out: addressed and differenced notions in this article. The realized developments in this article had the objective to elucidate the relation between the suicide intent and the inconsistence of the Other in the actual epoch –epoch characterized for the hegemony of the capitalist discourse-, relation that allowed to make the difference between the suicide intent and also to discriminate between the detachment of the Other as a particular element of adolescence, the symbolic inconsistence of the Other as a characteristic of the contemporary epoch.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
