Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas, Pereira, 2012El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el objetivo de describir los indicadores de competitividad del Índice de Desempeño Logístico del Banco Mundial en las Pymes confeccionistas de Pereira y Dosquebradas, por medio del estudio de la aplicación que estos hacen de los factores por los cuales se miden dichos indicadores. La investigación se llevó a cabo en las pequeñas y medianas organizaciones, donde con un instrumento de 36 preguntas se indago el punto actual en el cual se encuentra la organización en temas como lo son, los costos por operaciones logísticas, la infraestructura, la trazabilidad, la idoneidad, el comercio exterior y el nivel de cumplimiento en los tiempos de entrega, siendo estos los indicadores más importantes para el índice de desempeño logístico en Colombia.The present research paper was made with the objective of describing the competitiveness indicators of the Logistics Performance Index elaborated by the World Bank in Pereira and Dosquebradas textile manufacturing SME’s by studying how they apply the factors which these indicators can be measured with. The research took place in small and medium enterprises, where a 36 questions poll was applied to inquire the present situation in which each organization stands at topics as logistic operations costs, infrastructure, traceability, suitability, international commerce and performance in delivery time;
