The analysis of this data permits us to identify the developments and constraints of science, technology, and innovation in Colombia and also the key variables that influence the strengthening of productivity and competitiveness in the country and the región.En el presente trabajo se estudia la situación actual de la investigación en ciencia y tecnología en Colombia y, especialmente, en el departamento de Risaralda, consultando la información y los indicadores suministrados por Colciencias y por el Observatorio de Ciencia y Tecnología OCyT para los años 2007, 2008 y 2009.
