Summary:Thinking about learning disabilities and their direct relationship to social violence is convening bleak images; In fact, violence affect the development of community life, life expectancy at future options, institutional distrust and hits the formative bets, whose rigors affect intellectual performance and affect dropout. From the voices of some teachers from the Coffee region, Colombia overtakes a tour on life experiences, methodological runs for several moments. A notice of the problem to investigate, an identifi cation of who or with whom to carry out the process, an epistemic recognition, other research, a conduct fi eldwork and analysis of information that has a qualitative approach. Hermeneutics is the base that supports the reconfi guration of the information received. The results show that it is possible, despite the violence, to generate teaching strategies, classroom time to counteract the stigma of violence and equip students with a better understanding of reality.
