Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2018.El presente estudio buscó caracterizar la inteligencia emocional y las habilidades sociales en 21 estudiantes diagnosticados con trastorno de déficit de atención e hiperactividad (TDAH) entre los 9 y 12 años de la Institución educativa Ciudadela Cuba en el 2017-2018. La investigación fue cuantitativa de carácter descriptivo. La muestra fue seleccionada intencionalmente. Se utilizaron los instrumentos TMMS-24 y una rejilla de habilidades basada en la teoría de Caballo encontrando que tanto los hombres como las mujeres prestan poca atención a sus emociones, pero tiene una adecuada claridad y regulación emocional. En cuanto a las habilidades sociales utilizan los componentes conductuales y cognitivos para realizar la conducta socialmente habilidosa. \ Abstract: The present study sought to characterize emotional intelligence and social skills in 21 students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) between 9 and 15 years of the Ciudadela Cuba school in 2017-2018. The investigation was quantitative of a descriptive character. The sample was intentionally selected. We used the TMMS-24 instruments and a grid of skills based on the theory of Caballo finding that men as the women have little attention to their emotions, but it has little of clarity and emotional regulation.In terms of social skills, the behavioral and cognitive components are used to perform socially skilled behaviorUniversidad Católica de Pereira.
