Facultad de Comunicación Social y Periodismo, Pereira, 2019El embarazo en la adolescencia tiene un efecto profundo en la trayectoria de vida de las adolescentes. Obstaculiza su desarrollo psicosocial, se asocia con resultados deficientes en materia de salud tanto para ellas como para sus hijos, repercute negativamente en sus oportunidades educativas y laborales, y contribuye a perpetuar los ciclos intergeneracionales de pobreza y mala salud. Sin embargo en esta investigación se resalta especialmente a Latinoamérica, debido a que es uno de los lugares donde la tasa de embarazo es la más alta. (UNFPA, 2018) En el caso de Colombia se presentan embarazos en jóvenes a partir de los 12 años de edad (UNFPA Colombia, 2015) trayendo consigo unos cambios específicos afectando lo social, psicológico, intrafamiliar y físico, lo cual se ha identificado en el transcurso de las investigaciones realizadas con los jóvenes que han sido parte del presente proyecto #Sin Tabú, mediante sus relatos de vida. Sin Tabú es una propuesta multimedia que mostrará relatos de vida de jóvenes pereiranos que pasaron por un embarazo temprano, en donde por medio de estos se abordarán los cambios que genera ser padre o madre adolescente. La finalidad de lo planteado en este proyecto es generar reflexión en los jóvenes a la hora de tocar temas como la sexualidad, buscando una manera cercana y apropiada de ahondar en asuntos que buscan compartir experiencias de jóvenes, su mirada a su papel de madres o padres adolescentes que, a partir de sus propias narrativas, comparten su vivencia para informar a otros jóvenes y ser una herramienta no solo de información y experiencias compartidas, también una iniciativa pedagógica en la que se comparte la trayectoria de un maestro y profesionales, quienes nos definen acerca del tratamiento adecuado para manejar la problemática desde la identificación, la investigación y la ejecución. \ Abstract: Adolescent pregnancy has a profound effect on the trajectory of the life of an adolescent. It impedes an adolescent’s psychological development, as this particular type of pregnancy is associated with poor health outcomes for both the mother and the child. It also has negative repercussions in educational and future career opportunities; along with perpetuating the intergenerational cycle of poverty and poor health. Nonetheless, this research is especially prominent in Latin America due to Latin America having one of the highest rates of adolescent pregnancies. (UNFPA, 2018) In the case of Colombia, instances of adolescent pregnancies as young as 12 years old have presented themselves, (UNFPA Colombia, 2015) bringing about specific changes that affect the social, psychological, intrafamiliar, and physical matters to those affected. These distinct qualities in changes has been identified in investigations done in adolescent populations by the project #Sin Tabú, through sharing life stories. Sin Tabú is multimedia proposal which would show stories about the lives of adolescent Pereiranos that have had to endure the many struggles that are inherently part of adolescent pregnancy. Through this medium of Sin Tabú, the issues that are generated with being an adolescent mother or father will be addressed. Ultimately, the purpose of this project is to bring about reflection among adolescents when it is time to speak about subjects such as sexuality. Additionally, hoping to do this in a familiar and appropriate way in order to delve into the issues that share the experiences of adolescents.
