In this sense, students should appropriate clear and strong conceptual bases to obtain the necessary theoretical foundations. The focus of the work is on the so-called “participatory research-action” based on four basic instruments: documentary analysis, classroom design exercises, surveys, and the compiled-data triangulation. The final results lead the research to a new path in order to explore new schemes for teaching methods and didactic education.Este artículo expone como entre la variedad de factores que componen la enseñanza y aprendizaje del diseño de la arquitectura, se hace fundamental dar un valor especial a aquellos que guían los procesos educativos encargados de nutrir las habilidades de conocimiento y comprensión de las técnicas de representación existentes. A su vez, es importante fundamentarlos con unas bases conceptuales claras, que se conviertan en los cimientos teóricos del estudiante. El enfoque de la investigación fue “la investigación-acción participativa” y esta se desarrolló a partir de cuatro instrumentos básicos: Análisis de documentos, ejercicios de diseño, entrevistas y triangulación de la información compilada.
