The balance allows us to highlight the contributions and manifestguidelines for historical research, arising not only from the work of theseimportant authors, but also from noticing the gaps in their visions supportedthrough the memory and the feeling of affection, which leads to the creation ofmyths and legends, and even though contributing to the narrative beauty of thecity, they also take a distance from their true historical conformation.El artículo propone una revisión e interpretación de la visión aportada por los principales cronistas pereiranos sobre los aspectos económicos y sociales en la fundación de Pereira.
