Partiendo desde una investigación climática y medioambiental, e interpretando las dinámicas socioculturales de esta población, se generan propuestas para tratar los aspectos físicos, climáticos, sociales, medioambientales y de confort, se hace una descripción del proceso proyectual y de las estrategias arquitectónicas, urbanísticas y bioclimáticas adoptadas con el fin de gestar un cambio social desde lo urbanístico; posteriormente se explica las pautas planteadas para el futuro desarrollo de dos proyectos puntuales, un mercado junto al río y un circuito peatonal a borde del mismo para activar también el potencial turístico de esta zona. /Abstract: This document approaches the selection process of strategies on architecture and bioclimatic urbanism as part of the plan to generate an offer of improvement and future projection for Caimalito (district of Pereira, Colombia) which is in a warm and humid tropical climate and is adjacent to the Cauca River, one of the main water bodies of the region.
