| Summary: | This anide contains a short summary about the literature on the relationship between the finance and real sectors. The article finds that they are related and that economic growth depends on financial development. Given that the best indicator of financial development is financial depth, the article makes a regression that links this indicator with gross domestic product. The article concludes that financial depth has positively influenced Colombia's economic growth between 1995-2009. |
