Para la intervención en este se realizó entonces un análisis del sector en conjunto y posteriormente la repartición de manzanas entre los estudiantes de la optativa para el desarrollo de los proyectos puntuales. El Conjunto habitacional Jorge Robledo se encuentra ubicado en la manzana 4, que alberga el edificio de la Alcaldía y el Concejo municipal (catalogado como de interés patrimonial). Por esto, el proyecto arquitectónico propuesto busca generar una conexión con este a partir de la apertura del predio y el desarrollo de espacio público que lo vincule con su contexto; el desarrollo de vivienda en altura para la relocalización de viviendas de la manzana que lo requieren; comercio en primeros pisos para la reactivación de la zona; un museo de pequeña escala que resalte la riqueza e importancia de la historia contenida en este sector; y por último el planteamiento de servicios complementarios al CAM para facilitar tramites y disminuir desplazamientos. Abstract: the present architectural project arises from an analysis carried out jointly with the students of the Optional II: Degree Work at the Catholic University of Pereira in which the state of abandonment and decay of the cultural and architectural heritage of the Cartago’s historic center is found. For the intervention in this, an analysis of the sector was carried out and then the distribution of blocks among the students of the elective for the development of specific projects. The housing complex Jorge Robledo is located on block 4, where is the building of the Mayor's Office and the Municipal Council (listed as patrimonial interest). For this reason, the proposed architectural project seeks to generate a connection with it from the opening of the property and the development of public space that links it to its context; the development of high-rise housing for the relocation of houses in the block that require it; commerce in first floors for the reactivation of the area; a small-scale museum that highlights the richness and importance of the history contained in this sector; and lastly, the approach of complementary services to the Mayor's Office and the Municipal.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
