Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2007Migradox es un documental que trata sobre el problema de la migración que se presenta actualmente en el Área Metropolitana Centro Occidente (AMCO), el cual ha llamado la atención por su acción tan masiva, el desplazamiento de muchos pereiranos a España. Este documental trata sobre este tema, focalizándose en dos historias de vida que comentan dos problemas de los muchos que existen, estos dos son: la fuga de cerebros y la desintegración familiar. Se decidió tomar estas dos temáticas con dos jóvenes uno llamado Marcelo Montoya que nos da a conocer el estado de la desintegración familiar con su historia de vida y la de Alejandro Álvarez un Diseñador Industrial que ve su futuro profesional en otro país pero sin saber las consecuencias y los resultados. Migrar hacia España en busca de oportunidades y una mejor calidad de vida, es quizás una de las alternativas que con más fuerza se ha venido aferrando a los ideales de los ciudadanos pereiranos, instituyendo esta como la región con mayores tasas de migración hacia España. Actualmente Colombia tiene una población de 41.242.948, teniendo en el exterior a 3.331.107 Colombianos, de los cuales viven en España 130.433 Risaraldenses un 16.8% de la población total que ha migrado a España. Son pereiranos que deciden realizar grandes sacrificios al emprender su camino en busca de una ilusión; alejarse del calor de su familia, dejar a los amigos, trabajar fuerte para pagar los pasajes, enfrentarse a una nueva cultura, arriesgándose al maltrato que reciben los colombianos por estar estigmatizados, al rechazo y la xenofobia y finalmente al fracaso, siempre con el objetivo de salir adelante. Migrar hacia España es una alternativa a los problemas de mala remuneración, desempleo, discriminación, delincuencia, narcotráfico y trata de blancas que se presentan en la región. España se constituye entonces en un atractivo por las mejores condiciones de vida que ofrece, el valor de su moneda, el español como idioma nacional, mercados más desarrollados, mayor cantidad empleos que son razones para hacer que muchos pereiranos migren en ocasiones sin dudarlo ni un solo instante.
