Dichas problemáticas conllevan un deterioro de la calidad de vida y dependencia de las personas con esta condición, las cuales, a través de la rehabilitación, tratamiento y apoyo, buscan la mejoría de dicha circunstancia. Los lugares especializados en salud y cuidado, son determinantes para que las personas con diversidad funcional física motora, cumplan su objetivo de mejoramiento; así pues, las soluciones arquitectónicas que se den a dichos espacios, son primordiales para darle simplicidad y comodidad a la recuperación de los usuarios, además de promover el vínculo entre los individuos con diversidad funcional física motora, sus cuidadores, y la comunidad en general. A partir del estudio realizado en la materia “Antropología de la Arquitectura”, se tomó como caso de estudio a las personas con diversidad funcional en la ciudad de Manizales; determinando como caso de estudio específico a la Comuna 5 (Ciudadela Norte), tanto por su porcentaje mayoritario de personas con diversidad funcional física-motora de la ciudad, como por su nivel de movilidad, topografía inclinada; y su déficit de equipamientos de salud, espacio público y ambientes inclusivos para este tipo de personas. Se plantea entonces, un centro de rehabilitación y terapia física para las personas con diversidad funcional física o motora.\ Abstract: The limitation to carry out daily activities and the affectations of the human corporal structure, are inherent problems to the people with physical-motor functional diversity. These problems entail deterioration in the quality of life and dependence of people with this condition, who, through rehabilitation, treatment and support, seek the improvement of this circumstance. The places specialized in health and care are decisive so that people with physical-motor functional diversity fulfill their objective of improvement; thus, the architectural solutions that are given to these spaces, are essential to give simplicity and comfort to the recovery of the users, in addition to promoting the link between individuals with physical-motor functional diversity and their caregivers. Based on the study carried out in the “Anthropology of Architecture” class, people with functional diversity in the city of Manizales were taken as a case study; determining as a specific case study the 5th Commune (Northern Citadel), both for its majority percentage of people with physical-motor functional diversity of the city, as for its level of mobility, inclined topography; and its deficit of health equipment, public space and inclusive environments for this type of people.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
