Summary: | The Colombian armed conflict has caused endlesssuffering in people who are part of this society, oneof the most vulnerable and affected population arechildren and adolescents, who by his own developmentcondition are involved to a greater extent than adults.The Colombian State in its effort to subserve theemotional recovery of these people, has developedprograms in order to put an end to this discomfort,but at the same time it has not taken into account aprogram based on neuropsychological rehabilitationthat allows to evaluate and rehabilitate disordersarising from the experience of the traumatic event,especially related to Posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD). The aim of this work is to do a reflectionabout the Colombian armed conflict and PTSD, andpropose a possible solutions in order to improvestate programs with the purpose to ameliorateemotional and psychological conditions of childrenand adolescents. |
