| Summary: | During World War II, the colombian press was a battlefield between Fascism and Democracy. The most important Colombian newspapers discussed the triumphs, suitability, expedience, desirability, convenience and fears that echoed on Latin America the events in Europe and Asia. The journals El Tiempo, El Siglo y El Colombiano, the first ones published in Bogotá, and the last one from Medellín, wrote editorials notes and news articles in behalf of one faction or another, but in this analysis is evident that during the whole war the opinion was not unanimous since 1939 to 1945. |
