Summary: | This article synthesizes the results of the research project framed within a concern of the Seminary of Sociology of Design from the ICESI University, regarding the occupation of the recently graduated designers from the academic programs offered by the institution. Thereby, there was a trend in the labor market: the areas that the recently graduated designers are doing, do not correlate with their appropriate knowledge at the University. In other words, they are required knowledge beyond design, demanding administrative and management knowledge, and intervention and resolution of problems in various areas. |
