Siendo así, se propone como objetivo principal definir estrategias urbano-sociales que permitan la reconfiguración urbana y ambiental, bajo el concepto de conservar las tradiciones afrocolombianas, -siendo esta comunidad migratoria la de mayor cobertura en el asentamiento territorial del sector- y articular el barrio por medio de una red de espacio público y un proyecto arquitectónico, supliendo la necesidad de vivienda digna. Para ello, se realizó una recopilación de información documental, de fuentes primarias y secundarias, como también visita de campo en el área de estudio para entender dinámicas sociales, culturales y económicas. Como resultados obtenidos, en primer momento, los de la investigación, donde se caracteriza el territorio y población, dentro de una dinámica socio-cultural y de costumbres propias del sector y de los asentamientos informales; y los resultados obtenidos como el proyecto urbano-arquitectónico, compuesto por el diseño urbano del barrio y un complejo de vivienda de interés social y cultural, complementada por el espacio público. Las conclusiones derivadas plantean que para romper la segregación urbano territorial y social de la comuna y el barrio es necesario generar dinámicas socio - económicas que articulen la dimensión cultural junto con el hábitat de vivienda digno que responda a la tradicionalidad y costumbres de asentamiento. Abstract: The urban problems and environmental deterioration in the El Remanso neighborhood, of the Villa Santana commune, by migrant and Afro-Colombian communities settled in this territory, have brought consequences of urban segregation and socio-cultural conflicts due to ethnic and cultural diversity. Thus, the main objective is to define urban-social strategies that allow urban and environmental reconfiguration, under the concept of conserving Afro-Colombian traditions, -being this migratory community the one with the greatest coverage in the territorial settlement of the sector- and in this way articulate the neighborhood through a network of public space and an architectural project that is connected to it, supplying the need for decent housing. For this, a compilation of documentary information was carried out, from primary and secondary sources, as well as a field visit in the study area to understand in detail social, cultural and economic dynamics. The results obtained include those of the investigation, as the first stage, where the territory and the user are characterized, within a socio-cultural dynamic and customs typical of the sector and of informal settlements; and the results obtained as the urban-architectural project, composed of the urban design of the neighborhood and a housing complex of social and cultural interest, complemented by public space.
