Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas, Pereira, 2018El siguiente trabajo presenta los resultados de una investigación orientada a establecer las prácticas de gestión humana frente a los retos estratégicos de la organización 24 Horas Seguridad Ltda. La metodología implementada resalta la técnica de la entrevista semi-estructurada así como también el análisis documental y el uso de fuentes bibliográficas, cuyo análisis permitió comparar las prácticas de gestión humana con la importancia del talento y el desarrollo humano en la estrategia y la competitividad, y generar propuestas de mejoramiento de dichas prácticas. La importancia del talento humano en empresas de servicios y sobretodo en la industria de la vigilancia y seguridad privada (por ser económicamente destacable y una gran generadora de empleo), implica la necesidad de conocer cómo se llevan a cabo los procesos en las áreas de gestión humana y como desde las organizaciones se promueve el crecimiento personal y profesional de las personas. En la investigación se pudo evidenciar que la organización estudiada realiza prácticas de gestión humana en los procesos de reclutamiento, la selección y contratación, el plan de acogida, la capacitación y el entrenamiento, la compensación y la evaluación de desempeño. De igual forma, se identificó que no reconocen que el área de gestión humana sea estratégica, puesto que es únicamente operativa y sirve de apoyo para el desarrollo de su actividad. Abstrac : Abstract : The following work presents the results of a research focused on establish human management practices in the face of the strategic challenges of the organization 24 Horas Seguridad Ltda. The methodology implemented highlights the semi-structured interview technique and the documentary analysis and the use of bibliographic sources, whose analysis allowed comparing human management practices with the importance of human talent and development in strategy and competitiveness, and generate proposals to improve these practices. The importance of human talent in service companies and especially in the surveillance and private security industry (because it is economically significant and a great generator of employment), implies the need to know how processes are carried out in the areas of management human and how the organizations promote the personal and professional growth of people. In the investigation it was possible to show that the organization studied performs human management practices as they are: recruitment, selection and hiring, reception plan, training, compensation and performance evaluation.
