Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación. Pereira, 2003Existen dos aproximaciones teóricas que intentan dar explicación a los fenómenos de equivalencia de estímulos. Por una parte Murray Sidman considera que se trata de un primitivo conductual, algo particular a los seres humanos verbales no aprendido, debido a la exposición a contingencias ontogenéticas. Por otro lado Steven Hayes, considera que el fenómeno debe explicarse como una operante generalizada por lo cual el individuo aprende de forma particular en un contexto, y utiliza ese aprendizaje para responder ante situaciones novedosas. En medio de esta discusión realizamos el presente experimento con una niña Autista de 11 años quien no derivaba inicialmente relaciones de equivalencia, trabajamos con ella en el entrenamiento bidireccional (entrenamiento explicito en relaciones de simetría, transitividad y equivalencia) de tres clases con tres estímulos cada uno, para evaluar el efecto que tenía sobre la derivación de relaciones. Se encontró que la niña logró derivar las relaciones de simetría, transitividad y equivalencia. Estos resultados apoyan la hipótesis principal basada en la teoría de Marcos Relacionales de Hayes. Se discute el efecto del desvanecimiento del reforzamiento en los resultados encontrados. There are two theoretical approaches that attempt to explain the phenomena of stimulus equivalence. On the one hand, Murray Sidman considers that it is a behavioral primitive, something particular to unlearned verbal human beings, due to exposure to ontogenetic contingencies. On the other hand, Steven Hayes considers that the phenomenon should be explained as a generalized operant whereby the individual learns in a particular way in a context, and uses that learning to respond to novel situations. In the midst of this discussion, we carried out the present experiment with an 11-year-old Autistic girl who did not initially derive equivalence relations. We worked with her on bidirectional training (explicit training in relations of symmetry, transitivity and equivalence) of three classes with three stimuli each. one, to evaluate the effect it had on the derivation of relationships. It was found that the girl managed to derive the relations of symmetry, transitivity and equivalence. These results support the main hypothesis based on Hayes' Relational Frames theory.
