Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2015El presente trabajo se traza el objetivo de discernir la concepción del síntoma como respuesta singular al discurso del Otro en la literatura de Freud y Lacan, teniendo presente las concepciones más precisas del síntoma y el discurso -cultura en la literatura de estos autores; también es preciso ubicar la noción de lo singular desde el psicoanálisis y la discusión en términos del estatuto de respuesta singular que puede tener el síntoma. Resultan como categorías emergentes la noción de sujeto y la relación del síntoma con el deseo y el goce. /Abstract: This work aimed to discern the conception of the symptom as a singular response to the discourse of the Other in the literature of Freud and Lacan, bearing in mind the most accurate conceptions of symptom, culture discourse from psychoanalytical literature; it is also necessary to place the notion of the singular from psychoanalysis and discussion in terms of the status of singular response can have the symptom.
