Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2022El ejercicio planteado en la Optativa Memorias Urbanas – De la ciudad al proyecto, establece las operaciones proyectuales a partir del entendimiento de la memoria en la ciudad, y como este refleja o reconstruye la memoria a través de imágenes que dialoguen y evoquen el pasado, para transformarlo y convertirlo en un elemento del presente y para el futuro de la ciudad como acto simbólico de la memoria urbana. En segundo lugar, la memoria como método de análisis permite establecer estructuras sociales y relaciones con la ciudad, para posteriormente reflejarlo en un proyecto arquitectónico puntual, que, de manera hipotética, se establezca como un vínculo de la memoria con sus habitantes y la ciudad, un mecanismo a partir del análisis hasta una solución formal arquitectónica. De esta manera, se desarrolla un ejercicio proyectual en la ciudad de Sao Paulo, Brasil, en el que la memoria de la ciudad se entiende a partir de la ausencia urbana y el vacío como espacio de propiedad colectiva y de construcción de memoria, para esto, se analiza el carácter del vacío, sus cualidades y condiciones que lo contienen y el papel fundamental que juega al convertirse en los escenarios urbanos de la ciudad a través del hecho arquitectónico para plasmar la memoria colectiva, esto, con la intención de evidenciar las dinámicas colectivas de la ciudad, donde el vacío se convierte en un elemento urbano constitutivo de encuentro, y que se establece alrededor de espacios colectivos significativos, en este caso, la zona de la Estación de la Luz y la Pinacoteca de Estado de Sao Paulo. / Abstract: The exercise proposed in the Optional Urban Memories - From the city to the project, establishes project operations based on the understanding of memory in the city, and how it reflects or reconstructs memory through images that dialogue and evoke the past, to transform it and turn it into an element of the present and for the future of the city as a symbolic act of urban memory. Secondly, memory as a method of analysis makes it possible to establish social structures and relationships with the city, to subsequently reflect in a specific architectural project, which, hypothetically, is established as a memory link with its inhabitants and the city, a mechanism from analysis to a formal architectural solution.
