La muestra estuvo constituida por 36 personas, 29 mujeres y 7 hombres, con edades comprendidas entre los 50 y 75 años. Esta investigación tuvo un diseño no experimental. En cuanto a los instrumentos se realizó una hoja de registro con el fin de recolectar la información sociodemográfica junto con una entrevista semiestructurada, al mismo tiempo se aplicó la Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida de Diener, la Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg y la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico de Ryff. Para el análisis de los datos, se utilizó la correlación de Spearman. Como resultados, no se encontró una asociación estadísticamente significativa entre los niveles de autoestima y de BP de la población evaluada (Sig. = ,230), sin embargo, la autoestima, el BP y la satisfacción con la vida presentan una relación significativa, ya que las variables tienen un ajuste adecuado con un valor de ,795 acercándose al 1; siendo el BP y la satisfacción con la vida las variables que más explican y aportan a la investigación. Abstract: This study aimed to identify the relationship between psychological well-being and self-esteem in older adult in Dosquebradas, and how these psychological factors influence their satisfaction with life. The sample consisted of 29 women and 7 men, with ages between 50 and 75 years. As for the instruments, Ryff' psychological well-being scale, Diener' Life Satisfaction Scale (SWLS) and Rosenberg' Self-esteem Scale were applied, also a registration sheet was also made to collect sociodemographic information and a semi-structured interview.
