Esta investigación es de tipo socio – jurídica partiendo de un análisis de los derechos de las mujeres en el ordenamiento jurídico colombiano, en los distintos mecanismos de protección que ofrece el Consultorio Jurídico de CECAR, el tipo de investigación es cualitativa y cuantitativa, por lo que es mixta; cuantitativa en el sentido que se usó estadísticas al momento de tener en cuenta los resultados, y cualitativa debido a que se enfoca en población determinada y limitada en contexto especifico, siendo en este caso a la mujer. Los principales resultados demuestran el rol del Consultorio Jurídico de CECAR, el cual, hace cumplimiento del sentido de eficacia de los mecanismos de protección, en la medida que la gestión interna lo permite, mediante la vinculación de proyectos del Ministerio de Justicia, como el programa “Tejiendo red”, el cual, promueve la innovación de derechos para la catedra, permitiendo al consultorio, optar por un enfoque de género diferencial, al momento de la recepción de los casos o situaciones jurídicas de las mujeres, que recurren al servicio de una clínica jurídica. Ahora bien, como resultado, se tiene en cuenta la demarcación espacial en el municipio de Sincelejo, Sucre, donde la población mujer se beneficia más del servicio gratuito, ofrecido por la labor social del consultorio.
