Esta investigación se realiza a partir del paradigma positivista, relacionado directamente con un enfoque cuantitativo de método hipotético-deductivo y cuenta con un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal. Hasta el momento, se han encuestado a 10 docentes, cuyo promedio de edad es de 38,7 años, siendo el 90% pertenecientes al sexo femenino y tan solo el 10% del sexo masculino. Se observó que 6 de los 10 participantes se han contagiado con COVID 19, dando así un porcentaje de 60% de contagiados por COVID 19 más de una vez, con un 20% solo una vez y con otro 20% ninguna vez los cuales fueron comprobados con pruebas. Se concluye que se requiere continuar con el estudio, porque si bien los resultados preliminares no arrojan una afectación marcada en la praxis docente, si se han detectado afectaciones en la salud de algunos encuestados, lo cual trae consigo la posibilidad de que los resultados cambien. Además, este estudio invita al desarrollo de investigaciones con un alcance mayor a nivel poblacional, para entender mejor cómo ha evolucionado esta temática dentro de los seres humanos.. El trabajo.This study aims to identify the impact of Long COVID-19 on the teaching practices of professors at the Corporación Universitaria del Caribe (CECAR). This study is grounded in a positivist paradigm, utilizing a quantitative approach with a hypothetico-deductive method. A nonexperimental, cross-sectional design was employed. Results: To date, 10 professors have been surveyed, with an average age of 38.7 years. Of the participants, 90% are female and 10% are male. It was found that 6 out of the 10 participants (60%) had contracted COVID-19 more than once, 20% had been infected only once, and 20% had not contracted the virus at all, as confirmed by testing. It is concluded that the study underscores the need for further investigation, as preliminary findings do not reveal a significant impact on teaching praxis. However, some participants reported health complications, suggesting that future results may evolve. Additionally, this research advocates for broader population-level studies to gain a deeper understanding of how Long COVID-19 affects human health and professional functions over time.
