En las profesiones de la salud, los avances en el tratamiento de los pacientes convergen con las innovaciones de las tecnologías digitales potenciando la efectividad de las intervenciones (2). Por ejemplo, en el campo de la rehabilitación, se han logrado diagnosticar con mayor precisión y plantear planes de tratamiento más efectivos al hacer uso de las tecnologías junto a las modalidades terapéuticas; las cuales permiten promover, mantener o restaurar el bienestar físico y fisiológico de un individuo (3)(4).
