Description
Summary:The Nursing Program of the Faculty of Nursing and Rehabilitation at Universidad de La Sabana offers students the opportunity to develop research skills through research seedbeds, which can serve as their undergraduate thesis work. Additionally, the program’s curriculum includes a sequence of five courses focused on research training. The final course, taught in English, involves designing a project aligned with students’ interests, the needs of the research seedbeds, or faculty-led research group initiatives. In this context, the Prosalud Group social innovation macro-Proyecto launched in 2017 has conducted research on health promotion across diverse populations to strengthen healthy lifestyle habits. Throughout this process, the group has trained new researchers via research seedbeds, as exemplified in the case presented below.
