Sobrevida y libertad de reoperación en pacientes sometidos a tratamiento endovascular de patologías de la aortaProcedimientos endovascularesAtención al enfermoAorta torácicaPatología20 Páginas.El manejo endovascular para patologías de aorta en las últimas dos décadas ha venido en aumento como opción de manejo para los pacientes con alto riesgo quirúrgico en Colombia y el mundo. Sus resultados a corto plazo en cuanto a mortalidad, libertad de enfermedad y necesidad de reoperación han evidenciado buenos resultados comparado contra la cirugía abierta sin embargo a mediano (1- 12 meses) y a largo plazo (>1 año) no se cuenta con resultados en nuestro medio. La fundación Cardioinfantil y su clínica de aorta es un centro de referencia nacional para el manejo de las patologías de aorta. La primera intervención endovascular se realizó en el 2002 y desde entonces se ofrece como alternativa de manejo con buenos resultados a corto plazo sin embargo a mediano y a largo plazo no se ha medido los resultados de sobrevida y necesidad de reoperación por lo que se requiere de una revisión de los casos realizados en la fundación con el fin de establecer la mortalidad a mediano y largo plazo, y la necesidad de realizar procedimientos adicionales.
