| Summary: | This project is an educational proposal that seeks to strengthen and develop the musical skills of students at the Laureano Gómez Technical Educational Institute who do not have a musical instrument at home. The action research process identified that the lack of personal instruments and sociocultural factors related to motivation and families' cultural perspectives on music classes in schools slow down the technical and instrumental progress of students participating in the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra's music education project, “Vamos a la Filarmónica”. To solve this problem, a prototype homemade instrument was designed that simulates the violin's fingerboard, allowing students to perform technical and motor exercises at home as a complement to the face-to-face sessions they take at school. The proposal is designed to be implemented in eight sessions, and the evaluation will be carried out through field journals, motivation questionnaires, and music practice. The expected results point to a significant improvement in students' musical skills and the development of independent work. This proposal seeks not only to enhance musical abilities, but also to contribute to the social transformation not only of students, but also of the community in general. |
