| Summary: | This research examines public policies aimed at reducing teenage pregnancy in Bogotá between 2001 and 2023, using the public policy cycle as a methodological framework and considering the city’s context. Based on an analysis by stages of the cycle and a SWOT matrix, it is concluded that the persistence of teenage pregnancy reveals institutional limitations in overcoming adversities, responding to the complexity of the phenomenon, and capitalizing on opportunities to address the issue at its three levels of incidence. Thus, the outlook on teenage pregnancy in Bogotá demands progress toward its eradication through comprehensive and sustainable long-term solutions. |
