Description
Summary:The thesis titled “From University Education to Professional Practice in the Aerospace Industry” aims to analyze the gap between academic training and the competencies demanded by the aerospace job market. Despite the growth of this industry in Latin America, challenges persist in preparing graduates to adapt to rapid changes and the sector's technological needs. This qualitative study, based on grounded theory, examines the relationship between university education and professional practice in the aerospace field, emphasizing the importance of adaptability, innovation, and leadership in response to the constant advancements in this environment. Through a questionnaire and interviews with academic and business leaders from the United Kingdom, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, the research proposes pedagogical strategies to incorporate originality into educational programs by integrating artificial intelligence, project management, and entrepreneurship. Originality, driven by a pedagogy that connects education with the productive sector, is identified as key to developing the emerging skills required in aerospace studies.
