Bustos Cruz, Rosa HelenaOliveros, HenryArias González, Milton Eduardo2022-04-01T13:45:12Z2022-04-01T13:45:12Z2021-11-11https://hdl.handle.net/10818/50269284975TE1162510.3390/xxxxx31 páginasThis scoping review aimed to evaluate the available evidence of the use of Biologics as treat-ment candidates for the treatment of severe and advanced COVID¿19 disease; what are the ra-tionale for their use, which are the most studied, and what kind of efficacy measures are de-scribed. A search through Cochrane, Embase, Pubmed, Medline, medrxiv.org and Google schol-ar was performed, on the use of biologic interventions in the COVID¿19/ SARS-COV-2 infection, viral pneumonia, and sepsis, until July 31, 2021. Throughout the research, we identified 4260 records of which 84 were selected for qualitative analysis. Amongst the results, we identified 5 popular targets of use: IL6 and IL1 inhibitors, Janus Kinase inhibitors, interferons, and mesen-chymal stem cells treatment.
