Mediante una revisión bibliográfica se plantean los elementos que se relacionan con estas enfermedades, se categorizan, se analizan desde la Declaración Universal de Bioética y Derechos humanos 2005 y posteriormente se plantean posibles soluciones bioéticas al problema de las enfermedades infecciosas desatendidas. A lo largo de la revisión se concluye que la problemática alrededor de las EID, es multifactorial y se presenta propuestas para la solución en la atención de las EID, desde una mirada de la Bioética centrada en el respeto por la dignidad de la persona y de las poblaciones afectadas.
